Each year, Overture offers more than twice as many free and low-cost performances and events than ticketed, mainstage performances. Overture’s community and educational programs cost over $1 million each year. We think it’s well worth the price to reach nearly 200,000 children, older adults, local artists, people with lower incomes and other area residents each season.
These free and low-cost programs are key to opening the doors to the creative, cultural and personal benefits of the arts for people who might otherwise be left out. But we depend on you to help make this possible.
Please consider a gift today. Your gift provides support for the following areas:
Free performances, exhibitions, artist talk-backs, ticket subsidies, accessibility services and other programming that provides access to the arts for all segments of our community and facilitates community expression by providing opportunities for local artists.
School-day and free weekend performances for students, educational resource guides, workshops and other programming for children, families and educators that integrates a diverse range of art forms into all levels of academic, cultural, aesthetic and personal development.
Performances, festivals, exhibitions, artist residencies and other programming that explores the rich variety of cultures and art forms within our region and around the world.
Subsidize a ticket, open a child’s eyes, join in a cultural celebration, or just enjoy the arts...all with a contribution to the Overture Center. The exciting, uplifting, and transformational power of the arts is yours to give. Make your contribution today. If giving online, you will be prompted to sign in or create a user ID and password, and then directed to the online donations page of this website. If you prefer to donate by mail, you may mail a contribution by check or credit card directly to Overture Center, 201 State Street, Madison, WI 53703.
