GLBTQ Teen Pride Arts

GLBTQ Teen Pride Arts an evening of art and performance for gay, lesbian, bi-sexual, transgender, queer/questioning teens, children of LGBTQ parents, and allies, ages 13 and up. The event will feature artist talks, performances, and a hands-on art workshop for GLBTQ Youth to promote self-expression and personal growth through the arts.

GLBTQ Teen Pride Arts is organized by and features artists Todd Olson and Nicole Bresnick, currently exhibiting in Gallery I, Overture.

Lon Michels will presents a hands-on workshop in which youth will be encouraged to express themselves through a visual art project.

Local GLBTQ-focused theater groups Proud Theater and Conceal & Carry: Queers Exposed will present examples of their work.

GLBTQ Teen Pride Arts is a free event and open to youth ages 13 and up. A short reception with refreshments will be held from 5:30PM to 6 PM, and participating teens will receive a bag of art supplies, and other gifts. Performances begin at 6 PM.
