It's in Your DNA

Mixed media wall hangings and sculptures in both 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional format depict the body and how it is affected by disease.  Artists Schliesman and Turner draw on the tactile qualities of the materials they use and activate the visceral qualities of the body.  Their latest art objects provide them with an opportunity to further explore their interests and engage the viewer with the vibrant colors and textures of the pieces.
