A former obstetrical nurse, Linda Wervey Vitamvas makes porcelain and steel sculptures that express her twin fascinations with scientific instruments and organic form. Kristy Deetz’s lyrical, subtle Veil paintings play with the trope of draped fabric. Steeped in contemporary philosophy and metaphysics, Deetz’s work queries the nature of painting itself.
