The Miles Davis Experience

1949-1959: A Collaboration with Blue Note Records
Tue, Oct 11 | 7:30 PM
Capitol Theater |
$21.50 - $35.50
Subscription tickets: $18.50 - $32.50

The postwar years were a revolutionary time in our society and our music. The new American dream clashed with the fact that some Americans were more equal than others, depending on their skin color. If anything can transport you to that incredible time, it's the music of Miles Davis. This multimedia experience, developed in partnership with the Miles Davis estate and Blue Note Records, is first and foremost about the music, performed by Ambrose Akinmusire and deepened with vintage photos and film clips. You'll come away more connected to our shared history.
