Madison Symphony Orchestra
Celebrating 20 Years with John DeMain

“There’s no one like John DeMain. In my opinion, he’s one of the top conductors in the world.” – Jake Heggie, American Composer (b. 1961)

“The most compelling element was the [MSO’s] strings, incisive in Vaughan Williams…but warm and plush as appropriate. In that respect it was tempting to compare this regional orchestra even with a major international ensemble, the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra…” – The New York Times

The Symphony

Conducted by Grammy and Tony Award-winning Music Director John DeMain, the Madison Symphony Orchestra enriches Madison and all of Wisconsin with exquisite Symphony performances featuring established and emerging guest artists.
