Get Into Overture!
Overture Center for the Arts is open to the public during regular building hours -- but to experience everything Overture offers, consider one of our various tours. All tours are led by experienced volunteer guides and depart from the Information Desk located in the Rotunda Lobby. All tours are for ages 12 and up and last approximately 90 minutes.
Reserved Building and Theater Tours
Cost $4 per person | Reduced rates for groups over 12
Visit the theaters and learn about the history and architecture of Overture Center. Learn more about the performance spaces and the various ways the spaces are utilized. Stand on stages and visit dressing rooms, support spaces and get a "behind the scenes" look at a performing arts center.
Building and Theater Tours must be reserved in advance. Information about scheduling tours is listed below.
Special Topic Tours
Cost $5 per person | Reduced rate for groups over 12
Special topic tours are add-ons to the Building and Theater Tour, and can be tailored to your group's interest and schedule. Please plan extra time for your visit - approximately 2 hours altogether. Special interest tours are available in the following areas:
Careers in the Arts
These tours are specially designed for middle and high school-aged students. The tour includes a panel discussion by Overture staff members.
Grand Barton Organ
Enjoy the sounds of the "instrument of exceptional merit" by the Organ Historical Society and learn about the historic Capitol Theater. Organ presentation by volunteer Robert Steffen.
